Instabridge started as a community-curated Wi-Fi map app and has recently expanded into travel eSIMs. Their unique approach includes one eSIM profile for all countries and the ability to create new profiles for free, though the overall experience has some rough edges.
The eSIMS.io team tested Instabridge's Vietnam plan (1GB, 6 days) from Ho Chi Minh City. Website checkout didn't work in our test, forcing us to download the mobile app to complete the purchase. Installation uses the device's native eSIM integration (no manual credentials provided), which is convenient once you're in the app. However, connection time was disappointingly slowโit took several minutes to establish mobile data, significantly longer than other providers.
What's clever about Instabridge is their multi-use eSIM profile system: install once, then activate different country plans from the app without reinstalling. They also offer automatic pay-as-you-go when your data runs out (no interruption), and you can generate new eSIM profiles for free if needed. Unfortunately, our traffic was routed through Poland from Vietnam (via Polkomtel), creating poor latency and subpar network performance. For travelers who value the convenience of one profile for multiple trips, Instabridge works, but expect connection delays and average performance.
